A Buried Penis is a condition wherein the penis is covered with excess skin in the scrotum or area of the penis.
The penis can be of the normal size and it's functioning may also be hidden, but however in this condition, it is hidden.
In certain men, the presence of congenital fat pad in the abdomen makes the penis inconspicuous. The excess skin in the lower abdomen and pubis tends to sag due to overweight resulting in this condition. It can be also caused the removal of too much of surgical removal of the foreskin.
Today, various procedures are performed to make the penis more conspicuous if the penile shaft is buried underneath the surface of the skin.
In case an excess amount of skin or fat is present in the lower abdomen and pubis, the skin and fat could be excised, thus raising the pubic region and providing a more well-defined appearance to the penis and genitalia. However, if only fat is present, liposuction or surgical removal of fat could be performed.
